It’s hard to think of something we love more than wedding season.

While Gina + Quentin’s wedding didn’t have any specific theme per say, the event was elegant and romantic. The beautiful and non-traditional location is really what set this wedding apart.

The North Bay Pavilion at Independence Grove is a rustic outdoor event space situated on the scenic North Bay. The striking covered cedar pavilion features high ceilings, black iron, and cedar timbers that add to the natural ambiance. A large white tent expanded the waterfront space with beautiful white floral arrangements and plenty of candlelight to set the mood.

It’s hard to think of a person at Catering by Michaels that knows the business better than delivery driver Alexander Rufus. After all, he’s the person charged with transporting food to many catering clients, answering any customer questions on-site, and ensuring that food arrives just as good as when it left our kitchen.

What are the main responsibilities of a Driver?

It’s pretty straightforward – our main goal is to make deliveries within a given timeframe. Sometimes, we have to manage multiple orders at once. We must be sure to be quick, courteous, and oftentimes set up food for the clients once we reach their destination.

We don’t like to take sides when Chicago has not one but TWO amazing professional baseball teams, but it only seems fair to cheer on the Chicago Cubs as they attempt to break their 100+ year dry spell of World Series wins.

Chicagoans all around the city and across the globe are collectively biting their nails and hoping that this year is FINALLY the year. As of this writing, the Chicago Cubs still have to defeat the LA Dodgers before they even have the chance to compete for the title of World Series champions.
