In 2024 Hanukkah will be celebrated beginning at sundown on Wednesday, December 25 until sundown on Thursday, January 2.
Hanukkah is the Jewish eight-day, wintertime “festival of lights,” celebrated with a nightly menorah lighting, special prayers and fried foods. Because Hanukkah celebrates the miracle of oil, it is traditional to eat fried foods such as latkes (potato pancakes) and sufganiyot (jelly-filled donuts) during the holiday. Our delivery menu includes a wide variety of delicious Hanukkah offerings that are guaranteed to impress your guests and elevate this year’s Festival of Lights.

A typical Hanukkah holiday spread includes latkes, braised brisket, blintzes, salads, and assorted jelly filled donuts and cakes. To ensure a delicious Hanukkah spread, Catering by Michaels delivers throughout Chicago and all surrounding suburbs, including Highland Park, Northbrook, Glencoe, Evanston, Oak Brook, Lincolnwood, Winnetka, Buffalo Grove, Vernon Hills, and more. We also offer curbside pickup in Morton Grove.
Catering by Michaels will not be open 12/25 or 1/1 so that our staff may celebrate the holidays. Hanukkah orders for 12/25 can be delivered or picked up on 12/24. Orders for 12/25 are subject to all Christmas special order policies and must be placed by Monday 12/16 at 5pm. Hanukkah orders for 1/1 can be delivered or picked up on 12/31.
